Tried to go to the ward to see patients - which was good - I diagnosed the location of a small haemorrhage (right temporal lobe of the brain - we'll see) due to a patient's inability to see the top left hand corner of her visual field, accompanied by mild auditory agnosia (not paying attention to what she can hear on the right hand side when a noise is made on both sides).
However, I arrived very late with oversleeping and only saw 3/4 patients. There was a sad old man too, which was sad.
In the evening I trekked to London to say Happy Birthday to me mate Karl - he cooked a recipe from the Sopranos' cook book and provided a tie and braces so I could fit into his 'mobsters' theme! It was so good to see him and others.
In the end I went home to my parents as I was so exhausted. Slept for 11 hours -much needed.
