- Russell's birthday treasure hunt. With his wife (Josie) coordinating, we gave him a bicycle!
- David (engaged since last week) asked me to be an usher at his wedding! Honour!
- Last night of Tingewick. Here, laughs were aplenty. We had a good crowd and the performance went well. This time our medics' pantomime was recorded - and I look forward to seeing certain jokes go well for the first time e.g. 'Where is the Joker?'
- Election of next year's Tingewick Director (Cath) and Producer (Charis). Both had excellent resumés and I think they will do a fab job.
- The Afterparty lasted till at least 5am and is probably still going on. When I left, it had metamorphosed from a hall-based rave into an underground wheelchair race (literally). I am quite impressed by the supplies networks lurking beneath the ground I tread unaware...
- My parents came. Dad is just beginning to get proper grey bits in his hair and for one of the first times I imagined what it will be like when he has grey hair. It was so good to see them and I am a lucky man.
- I consider myself immensely privileged to have been part of the Tingewick TEAM where so many work so HARD. 'Team Extreme' would literally spend all night in the hospital working on set - at the expense of any medicine. Now the show is over, however, perhaps we will soon learn to be doctors.
Love from Hugh!!!
