It was wonderful being at home for some good rest this Christmas period. Alan was a calming influence. My family can be quite manic, dashing all over - Church, then Hamstead Heath with me uncle and aunt (seeing a Rembrandt and a Turner there too), then saying bye to Alan, then lunch with the Dixons (Cranium and delicious leftovers), then driving to Worcester Park in search of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, then up to Oxford with minutes to pack. A few family arguments in the mix. Why do we adopt an argumentative tone, as opposed to one of fascination and respect? Forgiveness and Tongue-holding and Lightness needed.
New year with beloved Matt, Jon, Jules...the list goes on. Bless 'em. What grub too.
2009 is God's year - as was 2008 and will be any other years after. May we together love and walk and do the right thing time and time again and be kind.
It was helpful to put into the bed-time routine...brushing teeth, clearing room, reading 10 pages of a book.
What is important this year is that I pray constantly!!!!!!!!! May God and I never be separated! Who can stop the Unstoppable One?
